Bitcoin Sinks after China restrics yuan exchanges

Bitcoin Sinks after China restrics yuan exchanges

According to BBC, Bitcoin fell to less than half the value it recently traded for, following report s of fresh action by Beijing last month to restricts trade in the virtual currency. BTC China said that local payment companies have been blocked form providing it with clearing services. It means that the firm the world’s biggest Bitcoin exchange in terms of trading volumes, can no longer accept yuan-based deposits. Prices tumbled following the news.

One Bitcoin was trading for as low as 2,560 yuan (421 US dollars), with Japan-based MtGox seeing the exchange rate for one Bitcoin fell from 717 Us dollars to as low as 480 US dollars in Wednesday’s trade. “A lot of people put Bitcoin’s rise over recent months to China where interest in it has going through the roof”, said Emily Spaven, editor of digital currency news site CoinDesk told the BBC. “People are getting frightened that with new regulations the country could now drop out of the ecosystem. Going forward, it’s certainly not the end of Bitcoin, but people have been panic selling”.

BlackBerry is going to launch BBM for Gingerbread in Feb

BlackBerry is going to launch BBM for Gingerbread in Feb

BlackBerry launched its popular BBM service for Android and iOS last year and ever since it went official, Gingerbread users have been demanding a version of the application that is compatible with the platform. And now we hear that an app for this operating system is on its way into the Google Play store.

The company itself spilled the beans regarding the new version of the instant messenger through a post on its official blog. It says that the app will be compatible with devices running Gingerbread version 2.3.3 or later and the beta version can be expected to be released sometime in February. The previously released BBM for Android application was compliant with gadgets based on Ice Cream Sandwich or higher platforms.

The developers at BlackBerry have been busy designing the application for a few months now and it goes without saying that the version will make the instant messenger available to more than a few million people around the globe. Even though Google has already released the KitKat OS, Gingerbread continues to have a 21 percent share in the Android territory.

You may already know that BlackBerry Messenger or BBM, an instant messaging service, recently went cross platform. Additionally, there are reports doing the rounds of the web that the Android and iOS versions are up for an update that will tag along support for voice calls and messages as well as BBM Channels.

MIT prepared a tracking system(WiTrack) that can work through walls

MIT prepared a tracking system(WiTrack) that can work through walls

Research team at MIT’s (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in CSAIL ( Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory) prepared a high-resolution 3D motion tracking system which can work  through walls. From a static location connected to a computer , the system can track you as you walk around the house and even if you hide behind the wall. This system has a superb resolution by which it can understand the gestures of the body ( like if you lift your hand) as well.

This system is known as WiTrack which stands for Wireless Tracking. WiTrack is more cost-effective and the simple combination of hardware and software than Microsoft tracking system called Kinect. Microsoft Kinect tracking system tracks via infrared cameras which can’t track the person or object behind the wall. Such technology is known as computer vision. In order to develop the results from infrared cameras, Kinect processed through complex algorithm whereas in WiTrack process is pretty simple because cameras aren't used in it.

MIT prepared a tracking system(WiTrack) that can work through walls

WiTrack tracks you or an object with the help of radio waves. These radio waves are so low-power. According to research team, these waves are 100 times weaker than WiFi waves and 1000 times weaker than mobile waves. WiTrack consists of four antennae — one that transmits radio waves, and three receivers. According to Fadel Adib, one of the researchers working on WiTrack, the transmitted radio waves are “structured in a particular way to measure the time from when the signal was transmitted until the reflections come back.” Because the three receivers are spaced apart, it’s possible to triangulate the delay of these reflected signals, to build up a 3D map. Developers say, this system works accurately in the range of 10-20cm (4-8inch).

Research team of MIT has also developed some tracking systems to track through the walls, but in which one system consisted on a very large antenna while second worked with WiFi. Both systems were enormous in size as well as poor in performance.

WiTrack tech can be popular in future due to its cheap cost and good performance, but there is not any likelihood of its usage in future. Kinect is more efficient than WiTrack as it can track up to millimeter. Moreover, WiTrack can only track one person or object in one time. Developers say they can increase its efficiency to track more than one things. In the last I would like to  say if this system isn't as per our requirements then at least we can utilize this tech for some other usages such as when person reaches at home light turn on automatically.

Would Google abandon Nexus devices in favor of Google Play Editions?

Rumor has it that Nexus device will no longer be named that way, for Google is apparently pondering over abandoning the said line of stock Android phones. Instead, it is said to be thinking of launching Google Play Editions of popular handsets, and these devices are even set for a rebranding.

For those unaware, Nexus products are devices which are infused with pure and unaltered versions of the Android OS, and they are manufactured by other OEMs as ordered by Google. They are subsidized products, and hence are available in the market at comparatively affordable prices.

Would Google abandon Nexus devices in favor of Google Play Editions?

Google Play Editions on the other hand, are flagship devices of bigwig companies which are given the stock Android treatment. Since Nexus devices eat up a chunk of the market share, major OEMs like Samsung, LG, HTC and others find their flagships often lagging behind.

Apparently, these companies could also be compelling Google to do away with the Nexus line owing to this reason. The tweet which is the backbone of this whole speculation comes from renowned leakster Eldar Murtazin, and points out that the Nexus line will be eliminated in 2015, and be replaced by the Google Play Edition line in a rebranded form.

Fans of the Nexus lineup would be extremely unhappy with this move, but it seems market pressure and a number of other things are forcing Google to go with the decision. Their saving grace could turn out to be Google-owned Motorola which is doling out attractive nearly-stock Android devices right now.

Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy Glass

Samsung is preparing to launch Galaxy Glass

Samsung was early to market with a smartwatch in the Galaxy Gear, and now it looks like it might be one of the first in the mix with a glasses-based computing device. A new report from the Korea Times (via Verge) suggests that Samsung is currently developing a Google Glass competitor, which is in fact provisionally named “Galaxy Glass,” set for launch in September at the annual IFA tech conference.

Google has yet to put a firm timeline on the consumer launch of its own Google Glass wearable computer, which is available to developers and early adopters via Google’s ‘Explorer’ program. Some reports had suggested a general launch for late 2013, but then later information from Google revised the release timeline to sometime in 2014. Samsung could conceivably beat Google to the punch, but as we saw with the Galaxy Gear, that’s not necessarily a good thing.

The Gear was likewise telegraphed before its actual launch, with Samsung coming right out and admitting the device was on the way at IFA. This time around, there’s no named source discussing the device, but the Korea Times does quote a Samsung official as saying that the potential in the market is huge, and that Samsung is very interested in getting a first-mover advantage in the space.

As for what Samsung Glass would do, it sounds like it would essentially provide a basic heads-up display for your smartphone on your face, pushing notifications, music playback information and basic controls to the lens of a head-mounted display.

Samsung getting in among the early crop of device-makers hoping to ride this trend is in keeping with its recent strategy, which seems to be one of putting everything they can out as a shipping product. It’s a plan that gets them lots of props as a company eager to pursue innovation and drive new product development, but the first-mover advantage has only questionable use value if these first generation products keep failing to impress.

Both the smartwatch and the eyeware-based computing models are interesting because OEMs seem to be pursuing them fairly aggressively without any evidence that this is a direction consumers necessarily are interested in. We’ll apparently see in September if Samsung has managed to build a face computer that moves the tech forward, however.

Google Buys Artificial Intelligence (AI) firm, DeepMind in 400 Million dollars

Google Buys Artificial Intelligence (AI) firm, DeepMind in 400 Million dollars

The recent chatter regarding Google’s acquisition-driven moves to become the world leader in artificial intelligence will likely increase now that the company has reportedly acquired DeepMind for $400 million.

According to a report from Re/code, Google has confirmed the acquisition of the London-based artificial intelligence firm, but would not offer any further details.

Very little has been publicly shared regarding exactly what DeepMind does, adding to the mystery surrounding Google’s artificial intelligence aspirations.

On the DeepMind website, the company says its mission is to combine “the best techniques from machine learning and systems neuroscience to build powerful general-purpose learning algorithms.”

This latest acquisition builds on other recent robotics and artificial intelligence-oriented buys by Google including DNNresearch, Wavii and Boston Dynamics.

5G Network 1,000 Times Faster Than 4G Developed by South Korea

5G Network 1,000 Times Faster Than 4G Developed by South Korea

The country's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST) announced Wednesday that it would invest 1.6 trillion won ($1.5 billion) to develop 5G technology that will be 1,000 times faster than 4G LTE and quick enough to allow users to download full-length films (usually an 800-megabyte file) in one second.

MEST plans to roll out a trial 5G service by 2017 and have a commercial service available by 2020. In addition to developing the 5G network itself, MEST will prioritize developing new, key features for 5G, including Ultra-HD streaming, hologram transmission and upgraded social networking services.

South Korea's government estimates that projected sales for related industries that would use the 5G infrastructure could reach up to 331 trillion won ($310 billion) from 2020 to 2026. MEST wants to implement the plan with cooperation from operators like SK Telecom and Korea Telecom as well as Samsung and LG.

Samsung announced the results of its own early 5G tests last May. The company claimed that it managed to produce a 1.056 Gigabit per second signal to a distance of up to 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) and has similar plans to have the service commercially available by 2020.

The company's tests used 64 antennas to get around the problems with the high frequencies needed to transfer data at higher speeds by rapidly switching between which transmitter and receiver beams carried data depending on which could get the clearest signal.

Despite the company's claims regarding using 5G as a potential network, the lack of published confirmation has drawn skepticism from some in the tech industry.

Just after Samsung made its announcement, Forbes denounced Samsung's claims as "hyperbole," taking issue with the technology Samsung claimed it used, especially the vague details surrounding the 64 antennas used in Samsung's tests.

Though some may write off talk of 5G as being little more than a marketing gimmick, other regions are also looking into developing the next-generation network. According to the Digital Agenda for Europe, the EU has their sights set on 5G and also hopes to be ready to support the increase in traffic expected in 2020.

Common Computer Speed Tips which don’t work at all

Common Computer Speed Tips which don’t work at all
www.techpopups.blogspot.com

Friends as everyone knows this is an era of speedy and fast. Everyone wants to accomplish his task within the click of his finger. If in this fast running era your computer works slowly then it means you are off the race. On internet you will find scores of tips to boast the performance of your computer. But there are several tips which don’t work as a matter of truth. For that very reason there’s no any benefit of applying such tips.  So friends I would like to introduce you mainstream tips which don’t affect on the speed of your computer at all:

SSD Optimization

Friends the first tip of embarking your computer performance is defraging SSD. Typically you may be suggested by your friends this tip, but as matter of fact this tip doesn't work at all. By defraging SSD again and again its life reduces. Some defragement software also feature to optimize SSD to enhance card speed, but friends believe me this is not true. Having applied this tip you might feel a little improvement in your computer speed, but this is only for the time being. So I will suggest you that you don’t go for this tip as it will affect on your computer device.

Do empty folder & increase your computer speed

You will see several tips about making empty some folders of Windows and it will increase your computer speed. For instance, folder “Prefetch” that keeps the details of programs and Windows in it. Make sure by deleting these details will not get you speed in your computer. Actually this folder erases the data automatically after 130 entries. Friends if you manually delete the data of this folder then your computer will take long to boot.

Deleting Windows registry

I have seen many programs claiming that our program deletes registry data and gives you good speed of your compute. I am agreed that registry editor consists on unnecessary entries of Windows and programs. Whenever you uninstall any program from your computer, its information and other details remain in registry editor. Deleting all this data can only increase the space, but not speed. This tip can work at that time when your system is about 10 years old and there is a massive data available in your registry editor due to installing and uninstalling many programs in this period.

Defragement Android Devices

There are many applications available  on play store which you will see claiming about increasing speed by defraging memory. In android device sold state memory is used that’s why there is not any difference in computer speed by defraging SSD. All such sort of apps are useless because they don’t speed up your device after applying them.

Killing Application Process

You can only give relax to your device resources for the time being by killing the process of the application, but after a while this app turns on again. These all above tips don’t work for increasing computer speed. Hopefully I will share with you useful tips to increase computer speed in my next post .

Thank you friends and hope you liked my post. Please share your feeling or opinion about post writing in the comment box.

LG announced to launch Chrombase, an all-in-one Google chrome OS desktop

LG announced to launch Chrombase, an all-in-one Google chrome OS desktop

Chrome OS was not introduced in desktop computer as an OS before LG became pioneer in this step.  Recently LG announced to launch Chorme OS base computer. Chrome OS is a Google’s operating system and I  personally think that LG wants to complete with Microsoft Windows.

The new cutting-edge tech is similar to Mac computer in which you will find all-in-one desktop with built-in moniter. A cute full HD screen in 21.5-inch size will absorb your attention. LG will use Intel Celeron processor , 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and also will come with a mouse and keybnoard. Additionally, the computer comes with and HDMI port, three USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 prot and an Ethernet port. In the last two years, Chromebook laptops have begun to make a dent in the sales of Windows machines.

In addition to LG, Google has also worked with HP, Acer Dell, Samsung and others to release Chrome OS desktops and laptops. Chrome OS computers can’t install software like Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop. Instead, everything is done through the Chrome Web browser.

Google boasts that the simplicity of Chrome OS doesn't require users to constantly update the software or their security because the company does everything for them through the cloud. LG plans to showcase the new machine at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where a price and release date are expected to be announced.

No doubt free online education programs were commenced by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Yes friends it was MIT whose teachers started thinking about launching free education course on the internet in the world. Some of their experts suggested that the simple way is to make available entire course material online on the internet so that a great strength of students can avail free education around the world. On 4th April in 2001 MIT announced that their all courses would be available on the website free of cost.

In 2002 pilot version of the website was launched. Initially it was consisted on 500 courses. In 2007 MIT offered 1800 courses in 33 fields. It means they offered their whole curriculum online for students that too free of cost. Time to time MIT improved course outlines. In 2012 they had introduced 2150 courses online and numbers of visitors were 125 million. MIT is aiming to deliver their free courses up to 1 billion students.

So friends you can also avail these online free of cost courses. So what are you waiting for?  Head over to the website and register yourself strait away!!!!! Website: www.ocw.mit.edu

EDX (Another step)

Get Best Education free of cost from anywhere in the world

Management of Harvard University also thought to participate in this virtue. Hence they also decided to provide free online education in collaboration with MIT. Online education was only limited to course material on internet before EDX, but in 2012 MIT and Harvard universities made a strategy to launch online classes for the course jointly.  Thus www.edx.org website came into being.

Here students can enroll free of cost where they are informed about new courses schedules time to time and students can choose the course programs according to their needs and time availability. Interestingly enough here you will find such courses on which you will be issued certifications after the completion as well.

Coursera

Last but not least, another step in this development took Stanford University. At this time Dafnay Coler and Andrew N.G gathered the best universities of America and Europe and made a plan to furnish online free education classes. In these programs 62 universities of 16 countries participated in this activity from America and Europe.  Students were offered 300 courses on the website.

Friends you can also register here and get any course free of cost and at the end of the course, you will be issued certificate as well. So far one million and seventy hundred thousand (17,000,000) students have registered in different 440 courses from 170 countries. I believe friends this will also be useful for you.

Udacity (Another platform of free online education)

Get Best Education free of cost from anywhere in the world

Two professors of Stanford University started this platform. It means Udacity is another free online education platform from Stanford University. The most advanced technology course “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)” was launched free of cost firstly. In a short span of time 160,000 students from 190 countries enrolled for this course. Thus a new free online education platform Udacity came into being. Udacity is also a joined work of different Europe and American universities. The management is always embarking their course outline time to time that too free of cost.

British is also in this race

Get Best Education free of cost from anywhere in the world

If American universities are offering free education then why British universities remain deprived from this welfare. Keeping this vision British organized a “Russellgroup” with the cooperation and collaboration of different universities of British. Russellgroup is enthusiastic to prepare 30 graduate students in Science, Technology and Engineering fields. You will find some paid courses on the website. If you like, you can continue your study here.

Google introduced smart contact lens

Google introduced smart contact lens

International Diabetes Federation said. “We think the world is losing the battle against diabetes disease.” But I suppose Google is still zealous to conquer the end of diabetes that’s why it introduced speculative technology in contact lens called “Smart Contact Lens”

The aim of smart contact lens is to measure the glucose level of Diabetes patient. Typically diabetes patient pricks his finger to test his glucose level that’s the manual sort of test. Google embedded a tiny wireless chip and hair-thin antennae between two layers of lens. This chip is 50 times thinner than a human hair. There is a glucose sensor with chip embedded in the smart contact lens.

The sensor has enough potential to record the reading of glucose level after each second. In order to make it more outstanding, Google is striving to integrate LED light that will  light up when the certain level of glucose approaches crossed threshold.

So far smart contact lens is still in the developing phase in GoogleX lab. Although Google has accomplished its clinical research studies but still Google thinks that it needs some experts and partner companies related to medical tech development. Talking to FDA (Food & Drug Administration) Google said, “It wants to work with some partners who are particularly developing medical equipment and gadget.”

Facial Recognition

Facial Recognition tech expected to be used in next iPhone version

Facial recognition technology is still controversial, but it has developed in recent some years. Now this technology can recognize face with high accuracy.  In the earlier year, Google banned on facial recognition technology in its Google glass wearable technology until some laws standards are not developed in this regard.

To read about Google Glass click here

Lately Apple Company won patent of Facial recognition technology that’s why experts are expecting that probably Apple will use facial recognition technology in its next iPhone version. On the other hand Obama administration is also preparing laws for facial recognition. National Telecommunication and Information Administration will conduct first meeting in this regard in 2014 expectedly.

It is imperative to set some laws for facial recognition technology because this tech can intervene in private lives of people. For that very reason it is very necessary to review general aspects of legislation before launching this technology.

An important report about Pakistani Smartphone users

An important report about Pakistani Smartphone users

According to a new survey from Google, there is a key change is Pakistani internet users. In 2014, a big chunk of Smartphones will exceed from Desktop computer internet users. At this moment, 91% Pakistani internet users access internet from their personal computers for that very reason internet is accessed from Desktop computers in a large mass in Pakistan. However, 45% of them also have Smartphones or tablets with their Desktop computers, 18% users only go for Smart devices.

Over all if I say that mobile devices for internet access are leading desktop computers would not be wrong. 86% Pakistani internet users access the internet on their Personal computers, 77% use access on Smartphone and 59% user access internet on tablets.

Due to Smartphone inclination and 3G technologies in Pakistan, the prices of Smartphones and tablets went low. It’s also expected that feature phones will also play their role to switch the Pakistani internet users to mobile devices. Load-shading is also improving the user of Smartphones and tablets in Pakistan. Tania Adros manager of Google Asia Pacific said, “According to us, 2014 year will replace the Desktop computer internet users with mobile internet users because users prefer Smartphones and tablets. All telecommunication companies must contemplate on changing behavior of users. That’s why it is very important for every company to know that how much they understand their users. ”

According to IDC firm, these stats were taken from research on 1000 Pakistani people. Pakistan Consumer Study Program was inaugurated last year on Pakistani users communication habits and very interesting stats were discovered from research. According to survey 70% people use internet daily while according to 60% users like to spend their personal time on internet.

In the last I would like to say that if Government contemplates on shortage of some facilities in Pakistan such as load-shedding, slow internet speed and low bandwidth, Pakistan can walk with other countries in digital life race.

Now Google+ users can send email at gmail directly

Yesterday, Google expanded a controversial feature which allows Google+ users to send emails directly to someone else's Gmail. This isn't exactly a new feature, as there has been the option to allow Google+ users to email you via your G+ profile, but the new addition is that you can find people you follow on G+ directly in Gmail, and the most controversial part of it all: it was turned on by default.

Earlier today, we described why you might be interested in disabling this feature. The main reason for disabling the feature would probably be that you don't use Google+, and if you're not a plusser, then by all means you should disable the feature. And, I would certainly understand if you want to dial it back, because we do feel that Google overstepped in setting the default to allow "Anyone on Google+" to contact you; it should have been limited to just your circles, or extended circles at most. However, it is easy enough to change that setting; and, I would like to point out a couple things about the new feature, just in case you're on the fence about it, because there is value to be had in it.

First of all, the feature isn't as worrisome as you may think. Users may be able to email you, but they don't ever get to see your email address, and you are in control of what happens after that first message. If someone emails you once, and you don't respond or add that person to your G+ circles, they will not be allowed to message you again. This has been done to limit the amount of spam and trolling that can be perpetrated through the system. And, if you have Gmail's auto-tags enabled, messages from someone not in your circles will be bumped out of your Primary inbox and into your Social inbox, giving you an extra opportunity to ignore it if you want.

The value

Second, there is real value in this feature, if you fit the use-case. These controls make this a very interesting feature which feels more like Google is making a move against LinkedIn rather than any other social service. Think of it this way: if you are searching for a new job, or trying to build up your brand, you may turn to LinkedIn to push out some unsolicited networking emails. However, with LinkedIn there are two downsides: first, anyone can send you a message as long as they pay for the privilege; and second, you are less likely to get a response through LinkedIn than if you were to track down that person's actual email address, meaning you could end up wasting your money.

On the other side, if you want to use Google+, your message will go directly into the recipient's Gmail, which gives it a higher likelihood of being seen. It won't cost you anything either. So, if you are attempting to build a public profile on the web, or if you are interested in helping others do so, or if you are just interested in helping out in your area of expertise, there is a lot of value in Google's new feature. For example, I have had the feature turned on with my Google+ profile since it was first made available, and the only emails I have received from it have been from readers who either want to comment directly on a story, want to send a tip about a potential story, or ask me a question because they trust my opinion.

Sure, there will be some trolls and spam (and frankly I wouldn't be surprised to see some after I post this), but the system is designed to mitigate those issues right from the start, and Google will undoubtedly add more anti-spam features as time goes by. But, spam comes with being more open; it's an unfortunate side-effect of something that does have value for some people.

On being more open

I certainly can't and won't argue that it is valuable for everyone. If you want to protect your privacy, that is your right and your choice. However, for some people, there is great value in living in public. In my experience, the more open I am, the less I worry about protecting my privacy, because at some point I began equating the "need" for privacy with a fear of being rejected by society. I eventually decided that in the majority of cases, privacy was really the mistaken belief that what you do and who you are is somehow different and wrong compared to others. It is the insecurity that comes from comparing your "behind-the-scenes with everyone else's highlight reel." (-Steve Furtick)

The more open you become, the more you realize that we are all human, and we share a lot more in common than what can be seen as differences. For example, I don't feel the need to be private about any health issues, because I don't hold exclusive rights to eczema, nor am I the only one to have a family history of skin cancer. I am not the only person to have been a shy kid or a fat kid, nor am I the only one to have overcome those issues to find great relationships and better health. From my choice of profession, I clearly don't feel ashamed to be passionate and excited by technology, because I am obviously not the only one to have that viewpoint.

Of course, as with all beliefs, the key is to not force your views on others. I realize that my views on privacy are not universal. I have kept certain pictures and social posts more private, because my wife doesn't hold my same views on being public. And, there are obviously more extreme cases where anonymity and privacy equate directly to safety for some; and, I could never suggest that those people would be better off leading public lives. But, I have also lived a long time on the Internet, and dealt with countless people who hold the view that the only way to get noticed is through negative attention (aka trolls).

Conclusion

At the end of the day, it is a choice. I have chosen to be more open, and I have found value in that (and have written about that in the past), just as I have found value in Google+. If you don't see the value in openness, or the value in Google+, then obviously you should just follow the easy steps we laid out earlier to turn off the new Gmail feature. All I would say is: don't let your knee-jerk reaction dictate what you do. The initial reaction by most these days is to want to protect one's privacy. Given all of the trouble with the NSA, various leaks, and stolen data, there are good reasons why you might feel that way. However, as the incomparable Frank Sinatra once said, "Fear is the enemy of logic." So, it can't hurt to take a few moments and reflect on why you feel the way you do, question what is driving your decisions. Those few moments of introspection can help make better decisions, and help to avoid any potential "troll moments" that we all have when we get stuck in auto-pilot.

Normandy Nokia's expected Android-based future phone leaks yet again

In spite of there being reports that Nokia has given up on the Android-based Normandy, the device doesn't shy away from showing up on the internet. Not only have some more of its pictures appeared on the web, but the device has also been benchmarked, the results of which confirm the presence of the Android OS.

The AnTuTu benchmark results of the smartphone appeared on the Chinese website Weibo and the guys over at Nokia Powerusers managed to lay their hands on the screenshots. It is codenamed A110 and operates with the assistance of the Android KitKat 4.4.1. Another detail that has come to light is that the device will make the most of a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but the exact version that it will employ has not been mentioned.

As you can see in the screenshot, the Nokia Normandy will have a rather low-end 5MP camera. This could mean that the phone may not be a very expansive one and may fall in the affordable range of Android smartphones. It is likely to be capable of rendering visuals in 854 x 480p resolution.

And that’s not all. The serial leaker @evleaks has also found some more pictures of the phone and they clearly suggest that the phone will have dual SIM card slots. The lack of Live Tiles and presence of widgets are enough to give the operating system away. Interested users are also likely to have multiple color options for this handset.
